We Will Rock You
Stage Lighting Services Ltd successfully transformed St Joseph’s school hall in to a fully operational theatre space. The equipment we supplied for this event included our new ETC Ion Lighting desk, Robe 575AT moving heads, LED Parcans, Lemaitre Pyrotechnics, Steeldeck Staging, Rigging and star cloths. It also involved using 4 CO2 jets from MTFX of Gloucester
“Stage Lighting Services and namely Steve Toozer, helped plan and design the set for ‘We Will Rock You’ in June 2010, eight months before the show date in 2011. This ensured that the set and ideas had time to be enhanced, ordered and finalised.
Working with SLS is always a pleasure and I am always grateful for the advice and assistance in helping producing and building the sets for all of our shows.
The ‘get in’ for WWRY took 3 days and all the time SLS were professional and helpful offering advice and last minute alterations, to improve the aesthetic of the show.
Importantly for the school all the staff that came into the school from SLS were great with the students and helped to develop their understanding and appreciation for technical theatre.
Every year I try to improve the technical aspects of the shows we perform and I look forward to working with SLS later this year when I start to design the 2012 show.”
