Haze Machines

These machines produce very fine smoke particles which hang around for a considerable time. These particles are almost invisible until they are hit by the stage lights when the beams are clearly defined. Used to great effect for musicals or lightshows.

Heavy Fog Machine

This Glaciator X-stream Low fog machine creates a low lying fog similar to that of dry ice. It does not use CO2 or boiling water, instead it freezes the output from an internal smoke machine. The Glaciator X-stream Low fog machine is much safer, more convenient and easier to operate than a conventional dry ice machine. It is perfect for theatrical productions requiring a more controllable effect. The Glaciator X-stream Low fog  machine can also work out much cheaper than dry ice. It has an external remote and a MUX control input. It uses a special fluid, see below.

This unit requires a 32A supply. This is a big, heavy machine!

• Jem Glaciator Low Fog Machine

  The Jem Glaciator X-Stream creates a low lying ground fog effect similar to dry ice but with out the problems associated with obtaining, handling and storing the Solid CO2 for use in a Pea Souper. The Jem Glaciator X-Stream consists of a Smoke Machine and a refrigeration unit, when the special Jem fog fluid used, an impressive low fog effect is created This machine is the modern equivalent to our Jem Heavy Fog 1500 which we also still have in our hire stock.

Dry Ice Machines

The Le Maitre Peasouper machine create a low level cloud effect, but require \'Dry Ice\', which is solid Carbon Dioxide. Dry ice is sometimes available from BOC, please telephone your local depot to check for availability.

This is a wonderful effect, but unfortunately the combination of boiling water, dangerous dry ice and 13 amp electrics is sometimes inadvisable on stage particularly with children around. Dry Ice is also becoming more expensive and more difficult to obtain. Hirers may wish to consider using the Jem Glaciator X-stream Low fog machine.
