Followspots

A followspot is a narrow angle profile spot mounted on a stand usually at the rear of the theatre, and is used to illuminate the actor as he moves around the stage. Please note that CID and MSR followspots are far more powerful that their tungsten counterparts but they cannot be dimmed electrically. Dimming on the Solo is achieved by using a blackout card in a hand operated colour changer, whilst the Robert Juliat Buxie, Robert Juliat Foxy and Robert Juliat Manon followspots have a built-in mechanical dimmer.
